Our Story
Our family’s roots run deep, spanning four generations of dairy farming in Lynden, Washington. Carrying on this legacy is more than a livelihood—it’s a calling. We are committed to continuing what past generations have built: a life centered on God first, hard work, stewardship of the land, and providing wholesome, locally raised food to our community.
Farming has always been about connection—for us, that means building relationships with our neighbors while producing food we are proud to share. We care deeply about how our food is raised and feel truly blessed to be part of this way of life.
Dustin and Lisa were both born and raised in Lynden, each growing up on family farms. From a young age, they knew dairy farming would be their future. High school sweethearts, they built their life together around that shared passion.
Marriage brought many blessings, including their three children—Carla, Henry, and Laura—who are now growing up in the same farming tradition. The original farmstead that once laid within Lagerwey Circle was the foundation, and a new chapter began with the development of the current farm just south on Northwood Road.
After Laura was born, Lisa made the decision to step away from her full-time career as a nurse manager to focus on family and farm life. Pursuing a lifelong dream, she poured her heart into creating and growing The Farm Store—a place where the community can connect directly with local food and the people who produce it.
Fittingly, The Farm Store officially opened its doors on August 18, 2025—the same day Dustin and Lisa celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary.
